I adore fall so much. I am ready to burn all of my cinnamon and pumpkin candles. I hoard them all year until fall. (Candles are a common gift for teachers and that is awesome for me!) I pulled them out yesterday. Tonight I plan on digging out my box that is full of my fall decorations. Now I don't do the spooky Halloween decor, that creeps me out. I decorate for harvest...pumpkins and such. Today at Kohl's I had to splurge on a reed diffuser that is harvest scent. Mmmm! The leaves are right on the verge of changing. How very exciting! I hope a
nd pray that fall lasts longer this year. It goes so fast. I wish it was the longest season...sweaters, bonfires, the smell of leaves burning. I LOVE FALL! If we are in the car and I get the least bit of a whiff of leaves burning, I will roll the car window down and breathe in deep!!! This fall will be even better because I will have a sweet little person to "help" me rake and we can jump in the piles and play. Fall will be even better this year! I even have someone to dress up and take "trick or treating." Oh, the joys of fall as a mama! I love being a mama even more than I love fall! The mums are in bloom and the pumpkins are ready to harvest. Soon the combines will be in the fields. What a sight that fills my heart with memories of growing up. I am so thankful that we live somewhere where we can enjoy the fall sights. I promise to enjoy each day of it and take Cora for walks in the crunching leaves. And don't fear there will be pumpkin pie made amongst other yummy fall treats. Did you know that I love fall?
