REJOICE!!

WHOOSH!! That is all I can say right now!! We got the booth painted yesterday and put the quilts up today!! Have alot to do here at home and Lori and I are brainstorming on what to sell and of course, our "handy-man" GW is getting into it with wooden bowls, lamps, etc...whatever we can come up with! But I just had to share how fast things can turn around. The Apple Fest. starts tomorrow,we signed up for the permanent booth at Burkholders on Monday. There are 2 Apple Fests in the area, one here in Nappannee and one in Middlebury. My cute story to go along with this, is when we got to the 6x8 booth yesterday to paint it, a cute Old Order Mennonite man came by, white beard to waist and jovial face. We visited and joked around. He told us about his boys and 17 grandkids and then as he left, he turned and said.."if I were you I would do all the walls yellow..just my opinion!" he said. we all laughed! Later, as we were packing up to leave, an Amish man came, old and with a short white beard. GW noticed his pants were made differently and not denim. GW spoke to him and he nodded, no words spoken. Then I was stooped over and almost backed up into him..he just walked on by. Later I realized something..The first man had a round belly and spirited eyes and he so reminded me of Dad. The 2nd man was short, slender! ....Poppy!...When retelling the experience with Lori K. "I think Dad and Poppy came by to see what we were up too!! Stinkers!!.."thought that was a cute thing...then today! hehehe 10 mennonite women were there, jabbering in dutch, as I set up my booth.....NO PRESSURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.in the middle of Amish quilters!!..Have a sweet weekend coming.
