Cora is down for a nap and Kevin is in bed with a bad case of Conjuctivitis. So, here I am! I have been attending a local church on and off for a few weeks now. The pastor there started a new series entitled "centered?" I was excited to be able to possibly attend during this 6 week series but obviously didn't make it today due to a sick hubby. Anyways...at one of the sermons something the Pastor said struck me so much. You may read and think, "You really didn't get that before?" It's one of those things that I have heard all of my life at church but never really understood. It h
as to do with the story of Moses and how God told Moses to say that, "I Am sent you." I never really got the I Am thing. What does that really mean? It's too big for me to comprehend. The Pastor explained it in such a way that I got it. I understood why it was I Am. He can be I Am the healer, I Am the provider, I Am the Father. He is whatever it is that I need Him to be. He is all of the things any of us need encompassed in one Sovereign, Holy, and Loving God. He is I Am! He is my I Am just as He is your I Am! This wasn't even the main point of the sermon, but it is what I needed to hear and walked away with in my heart. -Mindy
